To protect the two-match Test series, form terror attack, the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) decided to shift the final Test out of Mumbai to Chennai.
The England Cricket Board (ECB) has assured, that the team would return to play Test series starting in Ahmedabad on Dec 11.
“It’s very, very real and emotions are very high. It’s a sensitive time. The home environment is where the players should be for a few days. The Test matches are in place and, unless we get safety advice to the contrary, they will be going ahead,” said ECB managing director Hugh Morris.
